The OASIS is an important required component of the Comprehensive Assessment.  When OASIS version change, it is the agency’s responsibility to ensure the adequacy of the assessment – an important factor in determining medical necessity of the home health services included in the Plan of Care. Join Rhonda Crawford, BSN, RN, CHCE, HCS-D, HSC-O, COS-C for an evaluation of OASIS-D and Conditions of Participation requirements related to clinical documentation with special attention to the OASIS clinician’s assessment strategy and accurate response selection for new items and challenging guidance.
