The learning outcome for this educational activity is to enhance the knowledge of the home health Registered Nurse, Administrator, billing staff and other key employees as well as the in the area of RCD.  Content will include the integration of agency efficiency and productivity of the new federal guidelines for RCD and PDGM.  The learner will understand how to convey accurate medical necessity of the patient according to established CMS regulations regarding home health care to ensure the beneficiary receives the appropriate services required to achieve optimal level of function. Achievement of this outcome will be reflected in the learner’s self-evaluation tool.
