Recorded Webinar – OASIS:E- Social Determinates of Health, Hearing and Vision

Collection of the social determinates of health (SDoH), a new set of items for OASIS-E beginning in January 2023, is part of the effort by CMS increase standardization of data collection across the post-acute spectrum. These items are designed to assist in the identification of disparities in delivery of medical care.  Hearing and vision are another component of the 27 new items for OASIS-E designed to assist the home health agency in establishment of an individualized plan of care. As agencies prepare for the rollout of OASIS-E in 2023, training in the use of these new and changed items is critical for home health clinicians. This webinar explores the processes and OASIS guidance required to accurately assess these items.
